He received a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Michigan State University and his Doctorate from Cleveland Chiropractic in Los Angeles. He received his training in Nuclear Medicine at Charles R. Drew Post Graduate Medical School and King Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is a member of the American College of Nuclear Medicine and the International Headache Society.
